Choosing the Viscosity for Your Water Based Lube

Since you now have the basics of what kinds of lube are available to you, you now need to know how to pick the right one for your needs. There are lots of variations amongst water based lubricant.  The three main differences in each lubrication product are the feel and viscosity, the ingredients, and the lasting effect.

Water based lube can be thick as yogurt or as thin as wine! If you want to play with sex toys then selecting thicker viscosity water based lubricant is better. Thicker lube may also be preferred for anal penetration or play since there is an extra cushioning effect. Some people prefer a thinner lube because it is less messy and not as noticeable if you are trying to be smooth.
